Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Tarangire National Park. This park is renowned for its diverse scenery with nine distinct vegetation zones. The landscape is abounding in Ancient Baobabs, making you feel belittled when staying next to them. And the river is full of wildlife, allowing you to spot the Big 5!

It is also in Tarangire that you can find the highest concentration of elephants in the whole country. You will have the opportunity to observe their behaviours and interactions between families.

The lunch area is captivating, having an observatory with amazing views over the river and its wildlife. In the afternoon, you will do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation.

Day 2

Lake Manyara National Park

Enjoy your early morning breakfast before leaving for a full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. This park is truly breathtaking, with its luscious acacia forest, giant figs, and mahogany trees. Here you can find plenty of wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large number of buffaloes. The lake is also the habitat for lots of hippos!

The most distinctive characteristics of this national park are the tree-climbing lions, flamingos in the lakeshore, as well as the Ground Hornbill and the Crested Eagle. You will have many photo opportunities, as its landscapes are indescribable and with abundant wildlife.

We recommend some extra activities, such as a bike tour or a boat excursion. After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Lake Eyasi and the Hadzabe

Wake up very early, just before dawn, for a truly special day. You'll follow your guide until he encounters the Hadzabe, one of the few genuine nomadic comunities in Africa.

After being briefed about the Hadzabe, you will accompany them in their daily morning activities. This activity is out of the beaten track - unlike others, it does not feel touristic at all, being one of the highlights of your safari. You can either join the men in their daily hunting or the women in a session of fruit-gathering. In both of them, you will learn about the Hadzabe way of living.

Afterwards, you visit the beautiful Lake Eyasi, a seasonal shallow salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast and start your full-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. This park is home to the Great Migration, when over 1.5 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes start their ever-moving journey. And with such a large number of animals, it's only expectable to observe many big cats and other large predators, attracted to their prey. So take this opportunity to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many other smaller animals reside here too, not to mention over 500 species of birds.

After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5 -6

Serengeti National Park

Enjoy two days of pure bliss in Serengeti National Park. As you advance into the park, you will understand the meaning of the word Serengeti, which is Swahili for endless plains. As the plains extend into the horizon, your perception and senses will be defied.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

You will wake up very early in order to do a morning game drive, which will allow you to witness the most beautiful sunrise of your life. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for a gratifying brunch and then leave to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest unbroken caldera, recognized as one of the Wonders of the Natural World. Here inhabit almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It's also one of the few places in the whole continent where you can spot the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a lake full of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. Due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil, the elephants found here are the largest in the world!

After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 8

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the crater floor for a fabulous morning of wildlife in one of the most fascinating places on Earth. You'll have your picnic lunch near the beautiful hippo lake, followed by a short game drive. You'll exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and leave towards Arusha in the afternoon.
