Choosing your flight

We know how overwhelming it can be planning vacations. From the moment you pick your destination until you set foot on the country you're visiting, there are many variants you have to take over to guarantee that every single aspect is just as you imagined.

One of the most important points is how to get there (of course!).

First, you must know which airports are in the country you are visiting - for example, Tanzania has two international airports. Before going ahead with the booking of your flights, you should enquire your Journey Designer so he can point which one is closer to the start of your circuit.

Also, note that sometimes it's easier to book a flight to a neighbouring country, due to a higher frequency of flights, distances or even cheaper deals. For instance, if you are gorilla trekking in Uganda, you can consider flying to Kigali (Rwanda). The trip to Bwindi Forest is shorter than if you depart from Entebbe and Rwanda has better roads!

Where to look?

Then, with that settled, we recommend using platforms such as Skyscanner, Expedia or Momondo. Those sites will help you understand which is the most suitable flight for you, especially if you are visiting more than one destination or are returning from a different airport.

When to book?

If you are wondering if there's any difference in booking your flights in a weekday or weekend, let us tell you that there is. Usually, you can find cheaper solutions during the weekdays. And Sunday is generally the most expensive day to fly. Not to mention that during the weekend the airports are more crowded, as many people travel during the weekend to avoid spending vacation days!

However, it's entirely up to you. Pick the one that satisfies your needs and expectations and let us know so we can plan your pick up and drop off!

And tadam~!!! You are now one step closer to your once in a lifetime experience!

If you are also wondering about domestic and charter flights, those are usually booked by us. Feel free to ask us if a flight is included in your package or any other question you might have - we are available at all times :)
